That might not happen anymore for people who did register it as download links are generally available now under MY PRODUCTS AND SERIALS
Even the limited-time-availability stuff?
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

The NI newsletter email arrived just as I clicked this thread and began reading. Along with the Driver distortion effect, you can also download five "remix sets" for Traktor. I was hoping these would be in a format that could be used with other software but they appear to be in a proprietary, Traktor-only form.

There's also a $30 voucher. Unfortunately I can't use it unless they have another half-price sale on some of their Reaktor instruments (I missed out on the Black Friday sale).

The best sounding driver distortion i have heard in my whole life for free.

Have a good day and Merry Christmas :)

Warning! Once you receive the "Your Download Version" email, use the link immediately. It expires after 48 hours. Keep the email, since it also contains your serial number.

I dont see the download listed in my account either, nor for the previous mikor prism christmas special. It looks like everything else you order might have downloads available now though, I even see all of k8 listed as a download where you can get iso's for every dvd, as well as the previous skanner christmas special. So definitely make sure to keep the download around

Wow this impressive. Sounds incredibly analog. Screams like crazy, but sounds musical on even extreme settings.

gift horse. mouth.
considering this will be sold for 50 squidlies in a couple of weeks time, i think it's fair to talk about it in the context of any other paid plugin, without the need for the "don't be an ungrateful cnut" types of posts :)

Yep, yep, um, you sure about the last bit?

:)

Not sure how much use I'll get out of this but sure is fun, especially if you use the sidechain (drums keying in the distortion :D)

I have a download for Skanner (last year?) but not mikro prism so... <shrug> maybe recently introduced...

maybe this message is in correct place.

I just noticed in Native Insruments web site that they give free serial for a plugin called Driver! I downloaded and got serial immediately. I works and it really is great plugin! Amazing buzz!
Wow, NI-Santa outdid himself this year!

This is a nice plug-in! I tend to shy away from a lot of distortion stuff but I can actually see myself using this quite a bit. I probably won't be pushing this to extremes much as my stuff usually doesn't call for it but it works very well as a fairly subtle effect as well. Plus I tend to like messing with envelope followers.

Truly mind-boggling music! - New album out! - And a blog!

This is pretty awesome. My only complaint is that the resonance tends to "ring" on sounds with fast releases. The in-out gives a great sounding drive though.

With the notch filter and the choices for modulation, it seems as it's almost made for talking effects. Very nice plugin anyway.

:-o f*ck me, this thing is great. Set to taste, and then ride the Rate knob (that just sounds dirty). I love the squelchy goodness.

I dropped a single drum loop just to see what this would be about, and damn... I love it.

I wish there were more options for modulation control, but that's easy enough to work around by setting up macros and driving the parameters with automation or 3rd part lfo controls.

Wow, perfect timing for Driver to come along. I was kinda struggling getting some nice high end in this sound I'm working on in a track, and I decided to try out Driver. Problem solved; just like that.
