T-RackS Custom Shop Released

I own MUX that safely hosts other VSTs without crashing anything
but MUX isn't as 'nice' to use as T-RackS with its standardized interface. Anyhow, no worries, just release a mess of plugins then, everything from simple delays to whatever you can imagine. Again, if we could swap gear back and forth from IK rack products, at least to a degree, it would be really value-adding to everything we own.

For instance, it would be really great when the new Sampletank is released if you could use T-RackS and Amplitube gear as effect in it and be able to save those setting with your patches.
Or maybe Sampletank and other IK romplers could live as plugins within T-rackS? Anyhow my bottom line is I would love to see modular system that all works together

Since CSR stands for "CLASSIC studio reverb" it's about time for a SPRING !Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote: What sort of effects would you like to see?
Nothing is more Classic, so please ad this number 5 to complete the suite
Covering emulations from various small classic tanks, to legend AKG high-ends
And also with the ability to roll your own programs, and add dirt a la carte,
as well as "shake", and "hit/knock", and more, all to be automated of course,
I realise that the algoritme is un-linear, and a challenge, but its possible
Funny things might be added like various modulation from ext/int sources, and
also the ability to color the spring itself tonaly like seen in piano-verb (PSP)

Well, tape delay... Or LO-FI style tape effect.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:We might have something with tape on the way.kgdrum wrote:I'm surprised IK hasn't developed a Tape plugin.

Sounds like that the way I read it.

Hello,
I think the question is related to this topic, so I ask it here.
Are Custom Shop, Amplitube and T-RackS going to be
WinXP compatible at least for couple of update cycles
( in terms of added new gear )?
If one invests heavily in gear credits and then later date
finds out that WinXP is no more supported platform, it forces to
purchase new computer or at least upgrade system,
as otherwise one looses ability to use paid credits.
Public answer would help others in the same boat.
Thank you!
PS. BIG THANKS for the updates to Black 76 and White 2A!

Not tape, but I wish we had done the Italian tolex for the Soldano.SJ_Digriz wrote:What, you putting some gaffers tape on some of the cab tolex?Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote: We might have something with tape on the way.

We have had some progress with the XP issue, apparently, so I don't have an exact timeline but it looks to be a priority that will be fixed as soon as possible.

By the way, I've now found out that this problem (guy parameter changes not updating the host parameter values) also affects the T-Racks plug-in and Amplitube 3.Echoes in the Attic wrote:Hi Peter, support has been quick to get back to me. However they say they'd never heard of this issue. I guess the similar report from sunny_j got lost.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Echoes in the Attic - You should have been contacted and I'm happy to follow through if there's an issue.
You guys really need to check this out. I'm amazed it's gone this long in Amplitube 3 given how many updates there have been. I had never noticed it because I just use amplitude like a traditional amp and leave the settings alone (I use guitar rig for a lot of tweaked effects).
And given the nature of Amplitube and T-Racks where it's all gui based control, you might not run into the problem. However with the singles plug-ins it's a huge problem. For example using them with Ableton Live and a device that is supported by Live' instant mapping, when you select the devices, the hardware controls are mapped to the parameters. However when you change a preset, the hardware controls are not updated because they rely on the host parameter values. So touching n encoder makes it jump because it's still at the old value. Same goes for Maschine parameters and Novation automap (and any other host parameter based mapping). With the singles, I'd be using this type of system all the time, be it in Maschine, Live or whatever. So it's pretty annoying.
I hope you guys give this issue a high priority.
thanks

Could you explain this a little more?Echoes in the Attic wrote:The new CSR update has issues with the parameters. When you change a preset, the host parameters are not updated. similarly if you tweak a parameter on the gui, no update to host parameter. So any parameter change made via host parameters will cause it to jump. Is this a bug? It wasn't an issue before. It's a pretty bad one.
What do you mean by host parameters?
I definitely want to follow up on this, but I am unable to reproduce it on my Windows DAW, and I'm not totally sure what I should be looking for. It also could be a system specific issue that isn't easy to reproduce elsewhere.

Okay, I have to admit that the British Channel sounds great. The compressor especially. Was really happy with its sound.
But the look of that thing really bothers me a LOT. And no matter how great it sounds, my eyes hurt while I used it.
But, it sounds very very good.

To someone at IK (I get a little bit nervous):
How long does it take to get response to a re-opened ticket ?
First response was normal inbetween 24 hours.
But I re-opened it by reply (since not solved yet) a week ago.
Ticket-ID: 703452
Thanks in advance
Peter
