After listening to Port Blue, I've become inspired to record environments like malls, busy streets, forests etc. in binaural stereo to use in my songs. I'm looking for relatively cheap, convenient, portable mic setups - such as mics you plug into your ears with recorders that fit in your pocket - that I can take with me when I'm touring a new city.
What pair of mics and recorder would you recommend that together amount to no more than $300?
Thanks,
Dalal
Best binaural mic setup, including recorder, under $300?

I have a lust for Neumann's dummy head binaural mic, the KU100.
