Just got an email from Ilio that the Nomad Bundles are all 50% off. Seems like some really good prices but I have no experience with them. Are they worth having and any good? Any recommendations for must haves?

I like Analog Mastering and the Liquid Bundle, but that's all I own. They have some doozies.

I bought the integral studio pack (everything they make) last year around Christmas time for $99 and I certainly don't regret it. It comes with a ton of plugs of which there are 3-4 that I use often and 15 or so that I use at all.

They all look very nice but stand out's for sound IMO are:

Magnetic
Echos Pulse Tec
The British Bundle and
The Motown Bundle

Great plugins but I wish they would update magnetic 11 AU crashing live 8.

I bought the Liquid Bundle about a year and a half ago, and I have yet to use it in a single production. I guess this doesn't say anything about Nomad. Just that I have too much stuff on my computer. You would think that with everything I have, I wouldn't be tempted by holiday sales, but you would be sadly wrong.

They're great. AudioDeluxe has a discount on top of the 50% off with code YEAREND15. I have the BlueTubes Effects bundle (constantly use the driver and the widening plugin, occasionally the tin can echo plug), the British Bundle (the compressor's wicked!), and just recently bought the AnalogTrackbox from someone on here (missed the no-brainer, alas). So yeah, IMHO, totally worth it.

I own the British bundle and its decent but the company rubbed me the wrong way when emailing their support. The guy I spoke with was very rude to me when I questioned why a feature appeared to be broken. I reinstalled the plug in 3 or 4 different times and that's the only advise they had for me as to why a certain feature didn't work right. I don't remember the feature as it was a while ago but I do remember that experience and due to it I won't buy anything else from them though the Mo Town bundle did catch my eye before the incident.

I also have the Integral Bundle, got it two years ago, also through Don'tCrack. Bundle is still at $599.00 MSRP (through NF) btw - but there are ton of chances to get off cheaper.

My go to plugins there are also the analog modeled ones:

British Bundle (mainly the EQ)
Retro Bundle (Motown EQ)
Pulse-Tech (Pultec)
ALL-TECH (Altec 9063A)
Magnetic (prefer Magnetic 1 more than 2, but 2 offers more machines)
Echoes (excellent device on the lines of the Roland Space Echo)

Sometimes even from elder plugins like the BlueTubes effects and the Essential Studio Suite. Really depends on the job.

But if you're after an EQ for the SoundToys Radiator, the ALL-TECH and the Retro Bundle are your best friends. If you have plugins like VCC, NLS or Nebula (consoles) and want a NEVE EQ clone, get the British bundle.

Try the plugins for yourself - the installer comes fully loaded (just install the integral bundle, demo all plugins, then decide). The rest is just about license activation.

Oh and, don't listen to others that "certain plugins are crap" - it's like with Waves - their very first incarnations are used up until this day, and noone is raising a voice. Why shouldn't this be the case with Nomad Factory as well?

I got the ISP as an upgrade offer for $99 last year. There are some really nice gems in it as has been mentioned here. At that price, it's a lot of bang for the bucks.

One important thing though: if you buy NF products at a discounted price, they become NFR.

TBH, I wouldn't buy the ISP for $254+ with this limitation, knowing I couldn't get rid of it if I need/want to.
