Starting off with a snippet I originalny made in Figure, and then imported into iMPC.

Nice one. Could you give some more detail about how it was made? I understand you made a loop in figure, then copied it into iMPC -- over different pads, right?

Soloed and copied each track from Figure into iMPC.
I had 8 bars in Figure, but I got only 4,5 bars into iMPC, and I forgot to trim the loops.

Nice track Bmoore! I love basslines. The 80's were great for melodic funky baselines. Question - how did you place the soundcloud widget on your post?

Just paste the share link, and remember to make it HTTP, and not HTTPS.RoyMaya wrote:Nice track Bmoore! I love basslines. The 80's were great for melodic funky baselines. Question - how did you place the soundcloud widget on your post?

Good stuff, nice to see how others are using all these toys.
Just registered on soundcloud, uploaded a test beat from nanostudio.

Not too interesting, but let's get the ball rolling.

Cool stuff!
Change your link from HTTPS to HTTP, and the embedded Soundcloud player works.

A lot of views on this thread, but the number of plays doesn't match.
Maybe the embedded Soundcloud player doesn't work for everyone, or they simply click on the thread, but not the tunes for some reason.

Nanostudio is great for hitting record and just hoping for the best.
Didn't do proper mixing or sequencing, just amazed at how fast you can come up with random but usable stuff when doing more live recordings.
PC software never motivated me to do that for some reason.

Sweet tunage derek.
Say, the acoustic drums you're using in nano/beat maker, are they on board?
I'm covered as far as electronic/breakbeat drums go, but didn't find any convincing rock drums right away. Not that i looked that much, i can imagine beatmaker has them.
A tangential question..how hard is it to set up something like an online collab in, say, nanostudio? Anyone done that?
