LiteOn wrote:But now my version: Do I need Shimmer when I have ÜberMod, VRoom and vVv? :lol: :D
I was able to reconstruct similar to Shimmer sound with ValhallaRoom, Logic pitchshifter and loopbacked aux (or two in the case of up- and downpitching in the same time). It works, but maybe not very handy. Considering the fact I rarely need this sound, I decided not to buy VS.

Yeah, shimmer is more of a electronic wet-dream. (no, I'm NOT demoing it :x )

I have all the others (except the freebie which I don't think is x64 yet) and they get a bunch of use.

Here's the alternate 80s GUI that was rejected when Jan Hammer's endorsement deal went south:

I finally found a few free minutes to test this out. Absolutely gorgeous! I noticed that something resembling my favorite Alesis Quadraverb massive hall patch is included, which sold me instantly. :)
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

As suggested, some of you fellow synth geeks might enjoy these. VintageVerb more then covers that thick/lush sound, great verb.
The result of insomnia, and in-turn a great cure for those with insomnia.

You know what pisses me off is that reaper uses those colors for tracks and I haven't figured out how to not have them. Just awful.

Check out: Options - Preferences - Appearance - Theme Editor. I think you can change the colors there.

Cheers for that, but there was an inside joke there. I don't know what it's like now but there used to be a stash of people who were tired of the florescent colors that always seemed to pop up.

@colors, I like the vintage one best, I really don't care for the white or the neon blue. Of course it sounds so good I don't care.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe I should check out IK fisher price edition SSl emu :hihi:

Wow the Tiled Room preset is really nice - you can throw it 100% wet on something and you can still hear the original signal, thats beautiful :love:

What a lovely little reverb. Sounds like the good/bad old days. Love it. Another palette of colours to paint with. Bought it.

@vieris

Nice one - well, actually you've given the GUI a sound now. :)
