I was able to reconstruct similar to Shimmer sound with ValhallaRoom, Logic pitchshifter and loopbacked aux (or two in the case of up- and downpitching in the same time). It works, but maybe not very handy. Considering the fact I rarely need this sound, I decided not to buy VS.

I finally found a few free minutes to test this out. Absolutely gorgeous! I noticed that something resembling my favorite Alesis Quadraverb massive hall patch is included, which sold me instantly.

As suggested, some of you fellow synth geeks might enjoy these. VintageVerb more then covers that thick/lush sound, great verb.

The result of insomnia, and in-turn a great cure for those with insomnia.

You know what pisses me off is that reaper uses those colors for tracks and I haven't figured out how to not have them. Just awful.

Check out: Options - Preferences - Appearance - Theme Editor. I think you can change the colors there.

Cheers for that, but there was an inside joke there. I don't know what it's like now but there used to be a stash of people who were tired of the florescent colors that always seemed to pop up.

@colors, I like the vintage one best, I really don't care for the white or the neon blue. Of course it sounds so good I don't care.

Wow the Tiled Room preset is really nice - you can throw it 100% wet on something and you can still hear the original signal, thats beautiful
