That's a good idea. We'll be adding some cool new stuff in a few months.surferman wrote:I would like to see vocallive effects in T-Racks
What else would you guys like to see added?

First, some kind of Manley Massive Passive equalizer and Vari-Mu compressor emulations.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:That's a good idea. We'll be adding some cool new stuff in a few months.surferman wrote:I would like to see vocallive effects in T-Racks

Next, Neve 2254 compressor and Neve 1073 and 1081 equalizers.
Saturation modules like preamps, tapes.
A console summing plugins set.
And some API gear too would be great.

Hi Brian,Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:Could you explain this a little more?Echoes in the Attic wrote:The new CSR update has issues with the parameters. When you change a preset, the host parameters are not updated. similarly if you tweak a parameter on the gui, no update to host parameter. So any parameter change made via host parameters will cause it to jump. Is this a bug? It wasn't an issue before. It's a pretty bad one.
What do you mean by host parameters?
I definitely want to follow up on this, but I am unable to reproduce it on my Windows DAW, and I'm not totally sure what I should be looking for. It also could be a system specific issue that isn't easy to reproduce elsewhere.
By host parameters I simply mean the plug-in parameters as seen by the host. A plug-in exposes some or all of it's parameters to the host application for things like automation. You can see this when you look at the plug-in parameter list for automation or in Ableton Live when you click the "configure" button. Each host has access to the plug-ins parameters and you can usually see them as a little slider or something, separate from the gui. This is how hosts use plug-in parameters like in Maschine when a plug-ins controls are mapped to a knob or macro, or in Kore the same thing, or Novation automap. These all use the plug-in parameters as exposed to the host application. The problem with CSR and T-Racks is that when you change a parameter on the GUI, it does not update the parameter as seen by the host. This means that you could not for example record automation by moving the control on the GUI with the mouse. Also, when you change presets, the values of the parameters as seen in something like Maschine, Kore, or Ableton Live devices, racks etc. do not update. They stay where they were. So if you move one of them, then the control jumps.
So all you need to do to test is to open the VST in a Mac host like Live, hit the configure button to see the parameters as the host sees them, then change a preset. See how the parameters don't change in the host device.
thanks

C'mon IK fix the 'restore my gear' runtime error.
This is ridiculous.

A few people seem to have encountered this. Please contact Tech Support and we'll see what's causing it for you.doctorslosh wrote:C'mon IK fix the 'restore my gear' runtime error.

So far none of their fixes work for me. I am about to give up on 'tech support' and just wait until an updated version of TRCS is released. Surely the next revision will have addressed this flaw.(One would think.)

Did you try completely uninstalling your old T-rackS, and just re-installing CS version? I believe that is what worked for me.

I tried some of the here posted solutions but nothing works.
The system is completly new installed... Win 7 Pro SP1, 32 Bit, 4GB RAM
The entire system is absolute up to date - ALL drivers and libraries and programs and ALL is new and alwayss the latest versions...
No answer to my ticket (#343617) so far, i don't know if IK's support is working on weekend and i don't want to make stress shortly before xmas...

I've formatted half a dozen times, updated+not updated OS, used default+different exe, installed to different directories, installed+not installed runtime libraries, and in every imaginable combination.
