Its not fx im after, im not a fan of those built into synths anyway. Just a little more versatility.

Actually, I agree. There's certainly a bit of room for making it a bit more interesting to play with. In essence, it is great for me, but when I get to programming I feel a little too much restricted by the quite rudimentary modulation matrix. Is that what you have in mind? But the oscillators and the filter sound quite good, to say the least.

There's zipper noise when tweaking the Master knob. Can this get fixed?

Actually i wouldn't know why to restrict it to hardware paradigm at all. The advantages of software should be obvious, so i wonder, for example, why it has to be limited to 8 voices, unless you feel like it would use up too much CPU with more voices. This plugin has so much sonic potential that i feel it's a little bit of a shame that the modulation options are so limited. But then, the developer can of course do what he feels like doing... the plugin is free after all. There just seem to be a lot of people liking it, and a lot of proposals on how to improve it, so seeing all those getting denied makes me feel a bit

Try this: Open Charlatan.dll with ResHacker, open the "PNG", "101", "0" branch, then right mouse click on the "0", click "Replace Resource", "Open file with new resource...", enter this in the fields below: "PNG", then "101" and "0" in the last field [without the quotes, of course] et voila! "OK", I mean. And save the DLL, of course.

If anybody is interested I could post the edited background image. I still want to do a few more tweaks.....

I couldn't figure out how to replace the images. Can someone post a step by step guide for windows? I tried with XN resource editor, is there something easier?
