If they've got the best oscillators too, then bobs your uncle. All that is needed then is to wire the modules togetherizonin wrote:I wish Soundtoys also released a VA. They have the best filters, the best delays.. what else do you need for an excellent synth!

I haven't and probably won't read this thread, so pardon me if this has been mentioned. Have you ever noticed where the link below takes you? It's been that way for a long time, too. If Waves hadn't staked it, Synthesizers.com modulars would be Synthesizer.com. Anyway, it's about time they put out a synthesizer.

Is there anything Jordan Rudess is approached to endorse and he says "nope- not gonna whore myself out for that one"?

Incorrect. The registrants of synthesizers.com took it 6 months before synthesizer.com was ever registered. If they'd wanted it in the singular, there's nothing to suggest they couldn't have had it. And its not as if Waves didnt know how to register a domain; waves.com was registered two years earlier still.antithesist wrote: If Waves hadn't staked it, Synthesizers.com modulars would be Synthesizer.com.

That pic of Rudess just makes me want to take a match to his beard.
Also, when it comes to VA, new waveforms and waveform modifiers or GTFO

Okay...a simple VA for 99 bucks can't shock nowadays when you can have an "Advanced Simulated Analog Modular Synthesizer and Effect Unit" for only 72 bucks!
Go to KarmaFX Synth Modular.
I only try to relativise the Waves hype.
