NOOOoooo - don't give them any ideas!!!Aiynzahev wrote:+1 I'll email them about that.izonin wrote:I wish Soundtoys also released a VA. They have the best filters, the best delays.. what else do you need for an excellent synth!
Leave them alone until they update their plugins to x64 and AAX. After that, they can do whatever the hell they want.

My initial reaction to seeing the interface was pretty much the same as everybody else's - meh, another VA. Maybe it's just me, but the audio demos seem to have a lot of warmth to them - reminds me very much of Sylenth1, but with a nicer interface IMO (I'm not a big fan of Sylenth1's interface).
I don't need another VA, but audiodeluxe has it for $86 and I like what I'm seeing in Element's arp, so I might need to give this one a go.

Try demo now. What can say. I liked the sound, feel the character. But, for example unison not like at all.
99 is not a bad price. 200 is bad. More hope on modulation matrix. Then it seems that's all.

The interface is good. But optimization is not without flaws.

"Powered by Virtual Voltage™ technology..."
Not since Kurzweil coined "V.A.S.T." has the rest of the industry been made to feel so insignificant...
hmmm, wonder if they'll come out with a "One Knob" version...

Whatever, I'm just going by what Roger told me.whyterabbyt wrote:Incorrect. The registrants of synthesizers.com took it 6 months before synthesizer.com was ever registered. If they'd wanted it in the singular, there's nothing to suggest they couldn't have had it. And its not as if Waves didnt know how to register a domain; waves.com was registered two years earlier still.antithesist wrote: If Waves hadn't staked it, Synthesizers.com modulars would be Synthesizer.com.

Interesting comments from people who have not downloaded and tried the demo.
I did download and try the demo and it sounds really good. It seems to be a very aggressive synth. I like it, and at $99 it's a steal. Definitely gonna pick this up at the intro price.

C'mon...that is so boring...DCAM: Synth Squad, SynthMaster, MorphoX, Twin2, Sylenth1, Helix...all of them have a demo without an account login...

$200 is a total bananas price. laughable actually, considering for this kind of money you can have eg Masive and many more synths that offer something more than a features set from "vsti 101" book.
anyway - why would anyone want to download a demo of something that offers nothing extraordinary to try? looking at the GUI I cant stop thinking about the similarity to TAL free plugins.
Also - ofcourse it sounds good on the demos, it's Waves after all so if devs making free synths can make them sound great, then Waves devs are certainly capable of doing so either.

Yup, you have to sign in and run the Waves License center on your machine, and install the plugin. Not dead simple, also not the worst I have to deal with to install and authorize a plugin.Impulslogik wrote:billcarroll wrote:Interesting comments from people who have not downloaded and tried the demo.
