Well let's be frank, we have changing the GUI covered, I think.

So better leave karrikuh to deal with more important stuff that concerns the sound and fixes. We can't cover that, can we?

An internal skin switcher would be awesome! Unfortunately, karrikuh continues to ignore any mention of changing the GUI, so I doubt that is ever gonna happen.

think it could happen, given the input and interest, and with updates

Thanks to everyone who made skins and wrote up how to use Resource hacker. That was easier than I was expecting

And now I can look at Charlatan without these *throws away sunglasses*

This "little synth" sounds even better than the "big boys" when put through some "proper treatment".

I'm speaking of the additional plugins, of course. Oscillators and the filter and envelopes are really nice. Additionally, if you automate some parameters, you can get lots of different and interesting stuff...

i like the idea of it looking like a modular "KIT" synth you
build yourself with radio shack parts

and yes, this synth packs a punch with very little cpu. It
gets close to sounding like my AKAI AX80 for basses,
which has no built in EFX, but some meaty oscillators and filters that
come to life with a good external effects unit.

Would love to see some tutorials on creating knobs.........

'lil' synth...yeah: NO! you can easily have several
instances going without (audio-)conflict: it is a real
workhorse synth, the way an analogue should be.

and, rather than wishing for more features, i would look
forward to the next synth from the author

Just want to let you know that i have posted some presets for charlatan (Banks & Patches area), its 4 banks of 32 presets each, gathered ,rearranged, renamed and rechecked from a folder that was getting messy and disorganised. I hope you find some use of them, did a little demo.
For every preset demo (only 1 instance of charlatan used) there is a first dry part and then a wet part with little delay and sometimes little reverb too, nothing that changes the core sound, just to give a better idea how they sound i real mixes, and also for anyone who doesn't know the synth and get tricked by the fact it doesn't have effects or sounds simple(i know for charlatan's fans like me this is unnecessary).
