got my serial in an email, installed it, plugged in serial and its registered! i must have made the cut! whew! and emidiatly reskinned the horrible default GUI. man, what were they thinking? great sounding wavetable hybrid even by todays standard and cpu friendly.....SCORE!

as far as im aware its not a recent thing. The original magazine with z3ta free didnt have the serials but had this link to acquire one. The installer was on the cd.

guess its been pulled due to people abusing it now, i dont think it was ever meant to be a public link

I wouldn't call it "abuse", more "taking advantage" of an opportunity. As long as the webapge is open to everybody, you can't really blame somebody for stumbling upon it and seizing the opportunity

But keep in mind as this is mag-ware, it can't be sold second-hand (NFR).

It was a discussion about that earlier, as some users wanted to sell their z3TA+ copy obtained via Beat.

It's an old version, and they need to advertise and sell the new version,
so the old one goes to magazine dvds, and supporting websites.
They WANT people to try last years model, and get a percentage
who will upgrade.

When things get desparate after a really slow sales month, the new version
upgrade will be 50% off the normal price. I think that means 'now'

It didn't work that well trying to get a
large trade-in at the car dealer

but at least I drove the beta for 15 years
