Something tells me I need to google up Bruno and boutique :hihi:

edit: appending 'amp' got past the Bead & Breakfast page.
"boutique"!?! (Spitting feathers), How dare you or anybody mention such places that have nothing to do with guitar amplification or audio in any way, shape or form, The word as law according to BIG BOB:

My guess is that's Honduran mahogany or koa (this is a very expensive presentation quality amp). Oak will make a really heavy cabinet, but it will be very dead in terms of resonance, if that's your aim. It will be a bitch to work.

BTW, if you've ever listened to Brad Paisley, you've most likely heard a custom Telecaster through Bruno amps and a variety of Dr. Z's. He doesn't seem to use much else.

a trove for wood pics:

These pics do concur with your mahogany opinion. (tons of wood pics)

The Bruno backside shot has a blotch, and the lid by the on-off switches has
a side grain that look like just like oak used locally, those are perhaps
common wood characteristics. The other shots look more
like the mahogany samples in the link.

Came across a nice wood 'tone' website, more guitar related, than cabinet: http://tonewooddatasource.weebly.com/

I guess it might be a point of debate as to whether "guitar" tone woods would even be appropriate for amp cabs. Apparently, since he's using mahogany and koa, Bruno thinks they are. I know birch plywood is very common for quality ply cabs, and, sadly, particle board or some kind of random plywood goes into the budget stuff.
