Would you guys consider it a good idea if we all submitted our patches made for Bazille during the competition? (Or at any rate, the ones we are proud of.) Seeing as there are so few patches available for her perhaps the community would benefit for some additions? I've heard some great sounds in these tracks.
Sure! Here are my patches for bazille including the ones used in my entry, dunno how useful or useable they'll be to anyone else, but I had fun making them and I'm more than happy to share them.

Thanks for uploading these! Thanks also to z.prime for sharing his patches. I'll upload mine too shortly. I just need to name them better and add some descriptions to them.

Thanks to those who are sharing patches. I'll be grabbing them all up, yum yum.

For my entry I mostly tweaked existing presets from Bronto Scorpio's Infection bank, so even though many are very different from the originals I wouldn't feel right sharing them as if they were my own as I did not create them from scratch. Most times I do roll my own but Bazille took more time than I had last month to fully wrap my head around.

Sorry if this is asked and answered already, but I just want to make sure I'm not doing something against the rulez: am I allowed to vote in this month OSC? I'm a long time member (but not very active) and I never participated in an OSC. I had plans to do that, but I failed to make something that I believed is good enough to submit.. :(

This month there are some amazing tracks so I would like to vote if that's ok with you guys!
Music... life would be boring without it.

Well guys. Here goes my votes.
I tried it so hard this month, but i think these tracks really worth it so i voted for them.
I don't care if someone went over me or not in the score. I always try to be fair with everyone.
Even if i wanted a Zebra so badly since one year and more (and i never was able to afford one due my economic situation, everytime i have a job it is just for saving some money and surviving). It was a pleasure to be in the number one for a few days. Thanks, guys.
  • 1) Pocvecem - QSpace - 5 points
Beautiful warm track, as usual from Poc. I'm a great fan of his melodies and top notch quality. We missed your music. In my playlist.

    2) Bjulin - Infected - 4 points
This is the kind of electronic music i like. Wonderful and raving.

    3) Z.Prime - Beauty of the Electron - 3 points
Marvellous unusual track from Z. And still, there is that nostalgic mood from him on it.

    4) Evo2slo - Closer to the Sun - 2 points
A classic masterpiece. Great sounds and use of percussive sounds in a nice built up.

    5) TeezDalien - Truffles - 1 point
Another kind of electronic stuff that i love, the bassline sequences are pure love.
Honorable mentions to
Solidtrax - The wonderful use of sounds and mastering guys.
Jasinski - The modern top quality music artist.
AdagioCM - The chord progression master.
PedalSteelDrummer - What a great composition.

And the rest of others, thanks to your music i could forget a bit of my situation and stay busy with OSC.

Now the bad news (for me, don't worry).
Due i met wonderful persons and kind persons here in OSC and KVR, this is the only place where i can talk freely about my problems and to vent a bit.
Probably this will be my last OSC and that was the real reason of the title in my track, i was thinking about this a couple of months ago.
The last year i was in the same situation, and luckily i could survive. I still don't know how i did it.

But now i have lost my job 31th December (what a great way to start a new year) and i really need to start selling soundsets or anything else to make some money just to survive, or i will be living on streets in two months as much, literally, due i can't count on my "great" family. I never had a family, and i think some of you know this very well.

I hope that you all never be in my situation, it is oppressive, anxious, depressing and it is impossible to evolve as a person and as musician in this fu**ing country.
I'm feeling like if all doors, family, jobs, chances, people, friends are closing in front of my face and i can't see any shinning light, nowhere.

Thanks for listening to my tracks, thanks for the votes, thanks for being there and support me and help me with my music.

Please, keep doing music and have a nice day, guys.

@Irion: Really pains me that someone as gifted and as generous as you should be in such a tough situation. Very bad news indeed. :(

Please put some of your tracks on bandcamp and link it in your signature to allow those of us who love your music an opportunity to support it with a donation. I know it's not a solution but sounds like every little bit will help. Hang in there brother.

@Irion.
I only have recently discovered this community & these KVR contests , I must say it would not be the same without you , your music & your artwork. It is obvious to me that you have many talents on top of your artistic skills.Things must be pretty tough in your part of the world right now if someone like you does not get a decent job . I am sorry I cannot be of much help but I really would like to.Please keep us posted.

Thanks for the words, buddies. These cheers me up a little. Thanks.
Today i'm totally broken and depressed. I had to take antidepressive pils, when i'm total anti-pils and medicines.

I'm wondering what i did in my life to deserve this way of living, this family, all the problems i got. It is unfair, and i don't know what more to do. What does life expect from me?
Anyway, i think why i had this bad luck in my life? When is going to finish?
I know that in other parts of the world is even worse, but shit, that even makes me sadder. This world is not working properly, i know this since i was a child.

I think if there is a master plan for me, if something or someone is testing me.
Too much weight in my back since i was a child.
I would like to talk about all my life (I know that i could write down a whole drama book), now that i'm depressed, but i don't want to hijack the thread talking about sad things, seriously, i would feel bad doing this in a music forum.

I never had to ask for help, i always swallowed everything and never vent out all this, so this is the price, sooner or later you have to explode and all bad things come out.

Please, continue talking about anything else, continue with the thread properly.
I really don't like to talk about myself in depth, and much less to seems a depressed man (even if i am).
I will feel better tomorrow, i only need that you are reading this. With this it is enough for me. Thanks again.

Hi. This is my first posting here in the challenges but I've been listening to the wonderful songs from you guys since it started. Just never got around to posting as I was always working and never had internet at home.

1st off.. Irion, I do feel sorry for your situation and I hope everything works out for you. I'm actually in the states but I recently found myself homeless as well. I completely understand the stress yo're going through. I will keep you in my prayers. Just know that everything happens for a reason... even though it seems so unfair. You are a great musician and programmer & things will turn around for you. Keep your faith up, & remember that obstacles come infront of you to help you grow. In time, learn to take it as that and you will be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. :-)

On to the voting! I'm a hip-hop, R&B & jazz guy, so I'm a sucker for good drums & arrangement especially for using just synths:

5. z.prime - beauty of electron
At the beginning, the rev-up synth is fanstically done! The flow of this song is fanatstic because it has a lovely melody & it keeps moving in different directions. My only suggestion would be maybe to bus the drums to make em louder... but that's my personal preference. I just want to turn this up & dance in my room, but my roomates would make fun of me for weeks LOL. My favorite of all of the songs this months.

4. IriondaRonin - The last chance
THis moves so beautifully in the headphones. Very atmospheric. The subbass is wonderful & works well with the falling kick drum. Even though this si a slow moving song, the arrangement keeps me interested.

3. Loris D Solic - All Kidz Want Synthesizers
The voice fx are so ill! Along with the lil tap at the beginning (lil things cathc me in this track cause there's so many good sounds. I love the kidlike behavior of arrnagement on this song.

2. Solidtrax - Do Not Forget Your Bazille for Lunch
This is so funky! The main chord synths , the bass & the kick drum gets me! It's amazing how well you can get the drum sounds so crisp.

1. Yeager - Who Gives A Clap
I like this arrenagement alot. The drums are very precise & everything fits so tightly together. It's almost too professional! LOL
I read more than post = I listen more than I talk

@Irion. Oh man I'm sorry to hear about your situation, I hope that you don't go giving up on music man, you really have a great deal of talent and make some beautiful music. I know life gets a bit grim at times, I've had my share of problems maybe not to the same degree but I also believe that things have a way of working themselves out.
Must say it grinds my gears to see such talented people doing it hard in life and yet others with very little talent get much more credit and attention than they truly deserve...

If you do get some music and soundsets up for sale online I'd be more than happy to buy them and give my support.

Also thank you Irion, ClaRago, pedalsteeldrummer, bftucker and nikp2000 for the votes, it was really unexpected but I am most grateful as it is a fine compliment imo.
