Element definitely gets my "go-to synth" endorsement.

On a more serious note, I really do rather like this synth :)

How do you know?

Did you check everything?

Apparently they have found something 'in the code', and that sounds believable, because SE DLLs usually DO contain some references to SynthEdit in cleartext.
SynthEdit does not work on Mac and Element does so doesn't that mean it cannot be SE?

A rough idea preview loop of a song I'm gonna call "Morse On Mars" -- named after the Element preset of the same name. :)

I'll be updating it, as it progresses.

Cool... some audio! Some nice sounds there and a pleasing crispness.

Sorry, but i cant link to that site here.

If youre curious just do a google for 'XXXXXXXXX' and you should be able to find it instantly. For me it shows up on Page2.
I replaced the search with XXXXXXXX. I could be wrong but isn't also that "indirect" way of pointing to a crack against the KVR forum rules?

BTW i also deleted your screenshot from my quote of your first post.

Youre asking the wrong guy.

I dont know any more than you do, i merely shared the info.

If youre asking my opinion: Unless they managed to make some sort of shell/wrapper that allows 32bit plugins to run on 64bit systems and SE plugins to run on both Win and Mac its probably not a SE plugin. Both is supposedly possible though, so technically it could be SE after all. Since i cant check, i cant know. Thats all i can say.

So basically you don't know anything except what a cracker posted on a crackers website. Without any proof as far as i was able to check it.

So next time if you post such "funny" (sarcasm...) BS here you should be sure about it.

Glad to see that you finally got it too.

Seems like it wasnt so hard to comprehend after all.

I would like to see how people like it after 3 or 4 weeks of listening.
I have picked up my share of 100 dollars synthesizers is the last couple years.

I think I have learned that sometimes it's good to wait. 8)

the demo version only lasts 7 days, so you will have to rely on other ppls audio demos...not something you really want to rely on.

Nice demo! Perhaps more of this and less of silly SE speculation? :help:

Thx!

Yeah, in addition to lots of crispy transients, I noticed there's a lot of harmonics going on, too. Which is cool, but can get crowed when you start stacking. So, I had to notch out and shape the sounds a bit more than usual, but never had to start reaching for plugins for creating harmonics that weren't there to begin with. Which was nice. (I saturated the bass and drums a bit, but that was all.)

I think I like having lots of harmonics to start with and taming them if needed, than vice versa.

Thank you. Agreed. Though, this thread is kinda like a train wreck -- can't... look... away.

Hi,

great demo indeed. Like it so far. :)

Element seems to have a bunch of great and useful presets. This includes bread & butter sounds as well as more experimental or "digital" sounds based on FM, Phase modulation and/or Ring modulation.

I also like some of the lead sound based on Sine and/or Triangle waveforms. I have created such sound e.g. in my own presets for Saurus but they are quite rare in the factory sounds of new synths.

BTW for those who have not noticed the "SineMod" knob adds another oscillator (or better "operator") based on a sine waveform that does FM with the waveform in OSC 1 (the knob is for the FM amount).
A cool thing is that you could modulate most of the knobs and sliders of Element like e.g. the "SineMod" or "FM" knob/value.
