if i didnt need something with an onboard sequencer i would soooo get a 2nd one
No means to edit it from the synth though. But you can soon edit it with my editor.

I have just bought a 2nd one.
Some tips for Mac users, I'm using 10.6.8 and to run the updater (firmware) I had to retry 3x to get it to work.
Using 2 venoms USB midi, in audio/midi setup rename each to device to 1 and 2 respective,
This way you can trigger both synths over separate USB midi.
Mac seems to recognise both venoms as one audio device so I cannot see a way to run aggrigate driver.
So it's USB midi into both with analog outs into mixer/audio interface,

My Venom that I got at that Amazon price ($179 US) arrives today.
I have a gig tonight after work so I won't be able to check it out til way later or tomorrow. Having a day job sure does get in the way of things, LOL.
Fingers crossed, hoping I don't have these issues mentioned in this string (dead keys, etc). And I hope the Vyzex Editor works smoothly for me, OSX 10.6.8

For the Venom users running osx... You can potentially use Plugwire...

Well, I just decided earlier this week to get a synth and therefore missed out on the crazy low Amazon prices. Should have made that decision last week! Still this looks like a great deal even at the current $230, and I'm a little concerned about waiting to see if it re-drops so I may just go on and get mine on the way...
