Just downloaded, installed - awesome. To me, still the best Tone2 synth yet :)
Cowbells!

For those who have not already noticed in the Rayblaster thread. The Arp pattern files of Saurus and Rayblaster seem to be compatible in most cases. I guess Markus told something about 90+% where they are compatible.

Other soundsets for e.g. Rayblaster and ElectraX will follow too.

any news on the big electrax update?
Finally!

one of the best sounding analog type virtual synths going and the trade off between the minimal distinctions of sound between this and some others for the sake of processing power is worth its weight in gold, virtual gold anyway. Got it in the sale and never complained since and is one of the easiest to program I have come across yet, no cluttered interface and the layout is super smooth for access to parameters quick and easily, also the filter and drive are unique making this one of the synths with its own "Unique Character and signature" sound to it. Another must have unless you already own Diva, but this is nearly as good as anyday for me anyway as the difference between Vsti's these days is getting minimal more and more. Hats off to tone 2 on this one, gets my vote of confidence anyday of the week, Cheers

That means one can use the synth for 20 minutes, without sound dropouts or white noise?

sounds like it, but I bought after reading a lot of the flame wars going off between this and Diva a while back before I even joined up into the Kvr ranks and took the plunge in the sale without even trying it with what id heard with it being compared at the side of Diva with a lot less processor hit made me buy it without hesitation hoping for the best, same with the linplug Crx4 and SynthBlitz deep one, needless to say they are all Excellent and differing to one another in their own unique Sound and synthesis architecture, well worth trying Mr Numanoid

Tone 2 make fine products :tu:

But I'm thinking I need also to better utilize the stuff I already have, like the Arturia Mini for instance. It hasn't got all the features of Saurus, but the basics for fat sounds are there to be dialed up ;)

Yes, it works 20min without such limitations and they removed also this annoying demo voice. I don't know if this new "init" patch means a "init" preset or the same 3 init options from the full version. But this gives now also for the demo version a option to start with a new sound from scratch.

I noticed their solution to the problem of Sync being active and oscillator 1 being not saw causing glitchy output was to lock oscillator 1 to saw mode whenever sync is active. Bit disappointing, but it's far outweighed by the other improvements. I swear the feedback sounds a lot better, as does the resonance. Overall good job and I'm looking forwards to the Electrax update :)

Thanks for the info. Good to see them follow the example of Nat Inst :tu:

Downloaded demo for PC now, but the installer file is dated December 13th, 2012. Is this the latest version?
