Looking for mainly sustained strings with of without additional instruments or vocals as an instrument(no loops). Not aiming for extreme authenticity just a middle eastern vibe.

For solo strings with a clear ethnic vibe, check out Neocymatic's Hybrid Strings (Kontakt). Very expressive!

HTT Sika should also contain some cheap, Middle Eastern sounding instruments. I strongly recommend the Kamanjat for strings, though.

Nice find. As for Kamajat I'm quite happy with it after playing with it a moment ago.

You may wish to pay a visit to Sonokinetic's website. Lots of Middle Eastern libraries. Excellent quality too.
