So, how are people getting on with LuSH now that it's been out a while and some of the excitement around the release has worn off?

I rarely get excited for a new release but this one (And another) are certainly hitting all the right buttons.
I wonder what the price of it will be ?

GREAT sounding synth, very capable, wonderful effects....
Whats not to like?
Yes, it uses some CPU cycles BUT its worth the sound quality and capabilities.
Thumbs up!

Love this synth, but I'm bouncing a lot until I get a better PC.

Looking at the last month, LuSH-101 is probably the most used VST instrument in our projects, together with u-he DIVA and FXpansion Synth Squad.billcarroll wrote:So, how are people getting on with LuSH now that it's been out a while and some of the excitement around the release has worn off?
The honeymoon period is over, and I'm still in love with it. Great sound quality, and it is very capable of a wide variety of sounds. Only problem we have experienced a few times is that the GUI is not updated properly when we open a project with a few LuSH instances. However, it's to early to point fingers at D16, as it's possible the issue is caused by something else. We have contacted D16, let's wait and see what they have to say about it.
Yes, it's pretty CPU hungry, but we still manage to have a track with 11 instances of LuSH in high quality mode, running simultaneously without any problems. The CPU is a Core i5 3470 on default speed.

Some examples of Lush using presets from Lush Life which includes many CPU friendly presets. (check out the Acapella Apeg)core wrote:Love this synth, but I'm bouncing a lot until I get a better PC.

Some terrific patches in there. I'd love to hear a full song-style demo. It could be quite coolPatchAdamz wrote:Some examples of Lush using presets from Lush Life which includes many CPU friendly presets. I agree that it fits into the DIVA and FXpansion Synth Squad realm. The sound quality is amazing. I'm beginning to fall in love with this synth.solidtrax wrote:Looking at the last month, LuSH-101 is probably the most used VST instrument in our projects, together with u-he DIVA and FXpansion Synth Squad.billcarroll wrote:So, how are people getting on with LuSH now that it's been out a while and some of the excitement around the release has worn off?

The presets are completed so I will be producing some example tunes shortly.
Now there are over 150 new presets so it wont be too difficult.

When our project is finished we will put it on our soundcloud page and if the D16 crew is not disapointed, they will also put it on their website.billcarroll wrote:I agree that it fits into the DIVA and FXpansion Synth Squad realm. About the issue we have with LuSH, it happens when we insert more than 4 instances. The first 4 work perfectly, all the instances after that have their GUI reset when I open the project again. Can somebody reproduce this problem?

So funny he's using some modern Microkorg VA as an avatar and calling the presets "vintage."PatchAdamz wrote:Some examples of Lush using presets from Lush Life which includes many CPU friendly presets. The microKORG is an analog modeling synthesizer with multi-band vocoding. Its more of a vintage re-issue thing, modern meets old school with the Vocoder. Cool Stuff.zerocrossing wrote:So funny he's using some modern Microkorg VA as an avatar and calling the presets "vintage."PatchAdamz wrote:Some examples of Lush using presets from Lush Life which includes many CPU friendly presets. The Microkorg is in fact the exact same synth as the Korg MS2000 and as such can be considered reasonably "vintage"zerocrossing wrote:So funny he's using some modern Microkorg VA as an avatar and calling the presets "vintage."PatchAdamz wrote:Some examples of Lush using presets from Lush Life which includes many CPU friendly presets.
