I love the warped tape emulation in that one. I have a few more, but I always go back to that one. Try it and see what you think.
They use the ilok 2 now. I think it started with version 4.1.7whyterabbyt wrote:they dont use ilok2, they use the original ilok.Caine123 wrote:when they will get rid of ilok2 i will check it out!AudioGuy720 wrote:dalor wrote:+1!Kaboom75 wrote:Tried them all Soundtoys Echoboy beats all by miles.
Echoboy is more than just one echo, it includes a whole range of classic echo effects like Roland Space Echo, TelRay, DM2, Echoplex, Memory Man and many more.
Add me to the EchoBoy fan club. It just sounds "right". It's versatile as hell and it even has a nice little distortion feature.
Well you can pretty much call me the aliasing police I guess, because I prefer it to not be in my mixes!audiosabre wrote:FWIW, I can back you up on this. Any fabfilter plugin with a filter sounds significantly better @ 96k than it does at 44.1k. Especially when you're modulating something with fairly high resonance.@midnight wrote:fabfilter's filter code generates aliasing under certain circumstances. also, heavy modulation of the parameters under certain circumstances.
I encourage anyone who doubts this fact to do their own tests. I'm not part of the aliasing police, but in this case the plug (timeless 2) does sound better @ higher samplerates. I was pretty disappointed to discover this.
If anyone cares to start a thread on fabfilter's forum, I'll back you up. They have implemented one of my feature requests before, so they're pretty cool in this respect.
Cheers
in fact another one i use a lot, still, after all that time (it's quite old)... it's actually a shame that the developer never finished it...A.M. Gold wrote:This one (second from top) is good and free, with a versatile and easy to use interface:

Presumably, you left any details (developer, screenshot etc) out because it is not yet to be revealed?himalaya wrote:This one below, as yet not released, is definitely 'all in one' and them some! (it has some very advanced features).
If you are curious then here are three more audio examples( no screenshots or names I'm affraidBDeep wrote:Presumably, you left any details (developer, screenshot etc) out because it is not yet to be revealed?himalaya wrote:This one below, as yet not released, is definitely 'all in one' and them some! I am intrigued and rather curious though!
Is it coded or made in SynthEdit?himalaya wrote:Thanks.
I'm afraid I don't have any info relating to its release. I'd hope, very soon. It works on my system and kicks a**.
