Also, like many others in this thread have stated, the iPad has inspired me to start making music again. It started with the $5 GarageBand app and an electronic/dance remake of a death metal song from my old 90's death metal band, and now I'm all the way up to Logic Pro on the laptop. I think the more you get on the iPad, the more you want, and sometimes what you want is just not there...yet. And Logic fills that void nicely.
