Up until now I only found highlife by discodsp. Are there any other vsti samplers out there? preferably free ones.

you can do this with sifft which is a "sampler", albeit only with relatively short wavs (say 10 seconds max). you could load the relevant section, trigger it, then hit the 'scan' button and it will replay the fft frame, advancing the phase of each frequency band to preserve the pitch.

Thanks fro the reply but when I said vsti freezer I actually meant something that loads instruments and makes samples out of them.

Pretty sure what's mentioned is all that's free, the downside is they both only sample so many notes and then just use a sampling engine+pitch shift the rest and they don't sound that great.

Highlife is probably the best, the only solution that would sound good is the length process of multisampling each note and making a soundfont in Viena, cpu would be next to nothing.
