I don't have enough skill about MacOSX to do the same stuff,
especially with VST/RTAS. May be I can make a standalone version
in java, but I'm far from being motivated to do this.
sorry guys... that's life.

Just found this thread so I'll chime in - Zen keeps a number of plugins open to speed up browsing. You can configure this number in the zen.properties file. If you set the cache size to 0 it will close automatically when switching plugins.K-Bee wrote:So....having Universal Patch Finder for samples and Zen for synth pacthes could be a 2 way solution for auditioning everything one might have?
I'm just scared of having like 25 plugins open at one all of a sudden because I'm looking for the right sound on a huge list of, say, leads. It seems Zen opens them automatically when clicking the links. They should close them too when changing to a new plug.
This will never be a problem with samples I suppose.
I don't want to hijack the thread so for any other questions, please post here

Hi!
First, thanks for this nice software!
I was looking into it a way to integrate, tag and organize all my WAV samples,
as I bought so much of them over the years... and keeping track of every single sample, is nearly impossible without a sample organizer software I guess...
I was hoping that the soft would make it, it seems all the structure is there,
but for Kontakt material. and it's by far the most logical and complete I've seen yet.
Unless I didn't understand the purpose of it..(!), is there a way to:
- tag WAV/AIF/RX2 samples individually
- not rely on folder organization to sort samples
- simply batch-tag them
Let me know if you have any tip, I really would appreciate that !
Cheers!

your samples must be in a single folder called library. that's the way it works.
then drag this folder on "Add" button and that's all. all WAV will be imported.
if you want to auto-tag your WAV you have to read the documentation to make
your C# script (starting with the existing one). I can help you to do it.
then you can search in "advanced tab" any patch regarding the tag you created.
if you have multiple root folder, this mean you will have multiple libraries.
that's not an issue because you can search globally in all libraries (see the manual).
regards.

I fixed some issues regarding libraries tagging. The main new feature
is to relocate libraries. Very useful when you copy your database on
another PC where the libraries are not exactly on the same folders.
Give me some feedback then I will publish the news on Kvr.

Hi folks, 1.4 is out.
- MIDI Triggering
- Statistics
- SampleTagger plugin: will extract all metadata from AIFF,WAV and REX
- kontakt and mediabay import improvements
I made a lot of stuff around auto-tagging. now there is renaming rules in
the INI file that make things cleaner. Now you can import kontakt libraries,
ACID WAV, Apple Loops AIFF, or Mediabay in a consistent way, using the same
attributes names and values you want.
have fun.

Now patch search is much more responsive even if you have
a lot of entries in your database.
MIDI triggering do also MIDI passthrough now. (see my tutorials on youtube).

Love the look of this app - really unique. Problem is I am on Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1 and version 1.5 just refuses to open from the desktop or as a VST in Ableton Live 9. I cannot run the program
Any ideas?

I had (what I think could be) the same issue, my problem was that .NET was not correctly/completely installed, babybrown wrote:Love the look of this app - really unique.
