I've just been playing around a bit with the V2 release candidate. I really must say that the UI is MUCH improved. It has a much better screen layout than V1 and the command selection also is more intuitive. The meaning of the graphical icons one understands fairly quickly.

Only the structure editor is still a point of criticism. It seems that it is still not possible to add measures simply by dragging the right end of the timeline (as it is possible at DAW's).

The structure editor also seems to be buggy. I have crashes if I add a "New line" and subsequently delete it (with the "-" button).

But all in all: A great update.

Hi,

thank you for the feedback. The structure editor crash is already fixed in v2.0RC6. You can use the same download links to download the update.
The work has not finished with the upcoming release of v2.0. Not everything that we wanted to implement were included in v2.0. So very shortly v2.1, v2.2, etc updates will be posted. We have some new, really great ideas.

Small improvements (like dragging the right edge of the timeline) will be added in a next update.

Thanks,
Attila

No, it's the same with the current version v2.0RC7 (x64). I do the following:
- I open the program,
- then open the structure editor,
- then select Line 1,
- then add a new line with the '+' button,
- then I delete the new line
--> crash.
I'm on windows 8 x64

J.F.K,
this is strange because I fixed the exact same problem in RC6. I was not able to reproduce the crash with RC7-x64, but I found a race condition in the structure editor that is fixed now. I uploaded RC8 a few minutes ago with further fixes (midi recording and import). Testing VSTi plug-ins will start tomorrow.

Bumba,
thank you for your kind words. We are doing our best to release bug-free software. I am confident that V2 will be very solid, because many parts were rewritten from scratch.

Thanks,
Attila
