There are plenty plugins with much worse launches, and far far slower fixes. So please let me thank you for fixing everything so fast, and bringing Diversion to Mac :D
+1.000.000 - fastest hotfixes ever in history - 3 updates within less than 48 hours

Thank you for this amazing instrument - I'll send you a copy when the patches are ready.

Thought it must be some sort of memory leak type thing. Will try the new demo, thanks

So far seems much more stable - however after extended play I am losing sound on some patches periodically. The ones that go silent are mostly basses and leads eg. Acid aggressor. Just one Atmo seems affected - Crash. After a while the sound comes back again.

Yes, that's not difficult. It is oftenly asked feature, I'll add it soon. Was thinking to add it before Mac release, but there were lots of other tasks.

Yes, that was a memory leak, just of another sort, so you are absolutely correct. Opened file occupies memory and other resources in system domain. When application forgets closing previously opened files, we have leaks in system. OS is tracking such cases and prevents violent applications from further acquiring resources, which in our case indirectly tends to GUI disappearance.

Excellent! I'll fix the silence soon also.

Why is it you can automate detune but not osc tuning itself?

Post

It's by design. I know, sounds weird, but OSCs tuning and detune are things from different leagues in the plugin due to implementation of glide/pitch bend logic. In order to get it modulated by LFOs/MSEGs I made a fake control "OSC Pitch" in mod targets menu. There is a little problem with inserting it into automation list. I'll think how can I enable it for automation.

Just put together a template for people wanting to play this using Kore 2 as the controller - 40+ user pages but the performance one is at the top.

Made with the Mac VSTi but it should work with the Windows one too - I think

Hello Dimitri!

I'm very interested in this offering. Is there something you could add to the information already on your Website to Clarify what the main strengths of Diversion are?

You mention also Wavetable, but to me Wavetable means a series of waves in a string that can be played back and scanned through by using modulators like an envelope or a modulation wheel, am I confused as to the definition of wavetable?

Pretty nice piece of work all and all!!

Thanks

Wade
waves break, but somehow it all makes sense.

If I might add my 2 cent...

For me it's about the sound, the sound and again... about the sound!
Everything else is a nice bonus (and actually Dmitry's presets are far more then just a bonus - IMHO no one has come close to the quality of those already provided with the synth) - not to mention the features and lifetime updates...
Diversion is one of the very few plug-ins I bought lately, because it sounds... different.
If you look for an analog emulation - forget about it.
If you look for a synth, which sound different to other synths - check the demo - either you like the character of the synth or you don't.
If you like it - well , for me it took just a few minutes with the demo to decide to go for it.

As said, just my 2 cents...

I just bought so I don't need convincing amy more. Yes I agree sound quality is there for sure. I also don't need emulations as I already have Diva, and ACE... So this fit's right into an empty spot right now. I have Surge by Vember which is very powerful as well, unfortunately it's no longer being developed, Diversion seems like it's the same kind of expanded digital wave oscillator based synth that interests me very much.. Also it's GUI is pretty slick readable compact but not cramped and easy on the eyes..

The generous intro offer helped me on my way!

Patchppol sounds for it coming on stream in a month also had some influence on my descision to buy. Again!

Ah, very musical!

In reply to TwoTone:

That's just as I see it,
also got ACE and a couple of other synths (also some which might be described as "digital"), but as you say - Diversion fit's right into an empty spot.
I think this is a neat description for it.

Cheers
