Just took a quick tour through the manual. Now I can really see how nicely setup this synth is. Egronomics if it was a real hardware box it would be really comfortable and logical for the hands. As it is on a Screen it's still nice that things are setup in this uncannily organic way. For me at least it makes all the controls and their functions and signal flow very easy to remember..

I'm also getting a lot of Audio Dropouts, especially with sequenced patches - often I have to reselect the preset I just made two or three times so that the sound comes back. Also the MSEGs seem to be loosing their timing over a longer period. They get out of sync after 2 or 3 bars with a held Midi Note. In Logic that is.

Woaaa - now I reopened a project and the sounds in the 2 instances used in that project were gone - just the default waves were playing. So I had to reselect the patches in each instance. Something is still wrong here...

You could overload the sound by tweaking different resonances and distortions while the output keeps clean and bright. The single cycle waves how many samples long can they be. Could I combine a few single waves in an audio editor and import them into Diversion?

Yes, you can combine waves in editor and import into the plugin if the length doesn't exceed 16384 samples. Longer wav-files are downsampled during import. However the plugin doesn't morph through different waves combined in a single file, it threats them as one single-cycled wave.

Okay nice! I'll be enjoying Diversion very much! Now back to learning theres alot a lot to try, experiment with, enjoy and discover!

I especially enjoy the clever way you assign modulations via a simple rightclick and then adjust the amount with the right mouse key with a visual indication of what happens. And you can even switch between multiple assigned modulators with a right click on a knob.
This together with the mod matrix makes Diversion into a real joy to use for me.
As for the sound, when I said earlier that to me, Diversion makes me often feel like I'm tinkering with real electronic gear, I didn't mean this in an "analogue simulation" way, but more like those hardware hackers who mangle existing gear to create amazing tones never intended originally.
Many plugins are very "tame" and "musical" in a way, and Diversion can be as well. But if you dive into the filters and modulations, you can come up with very unexpected things that sometimes sound very organic and real in unexpected ways - they develop a life of their own. From very subtle to massively brutal you can go all the way
