I just got the lap steel guitar and I love the overdriven sound (mind you I can help it out with some plugins too).
I'm just figuring out how to make it sound like a real player would play (which will take ages) but one thing I don't get are the bend modes.
What does "allowing notes played after (or before) the time threshold to be controlled with the pitch wheel" mean? What is the time threshold? It must be the "bend time", but I can't work out what that's doing either
I've tried "auto" and it still seems completely random when it bends and when it doesn't. I know it's me and not the instrument, but I haven't worked it out
To me, it makes the most sense to turn this off and just use the wheel. I'm just trying to emulate a player holding a slide who would be either "sliding" all the notes he's playing or not. I don't think he'd ever hold one note and slide another. Does that make sense?
Anyway - any further explanation of the bend modes would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
