filkertom, i will check your theme but most of the times i don't like changing themes :S. I don't know why but every time i am going back to default :S.

No, no, default is good.
Don't worry about it -- you can't possibly account for everyone's taste in layout, colors, and fonts.

I agree. The controls are spaced enough so the gui is not cluttered, then knobs' colours reflect the processing block (comp, gate, eq), so it's easy to identify what you're looking at. And I also like the light colour scheme.dimigo wrote:I would like to say that reason has the best look.

I am totally in love with Reaper, and have been for many years now, but somehow I find the concept of Mixbus great as well - one type of standard EQ, one type of standard compression, and the plugins can be easily arranged pre or post just by dragging them around. All you need to see is right there in one strip.
Just wanted to add: Samplitube is actually called Samplitude, you're probably mixing it up with Amplitube.
Also, there are many more serious hosts out there, like Mackie Tracktion, Zynewave Podium, EnergyXT, Vienna Ensemble Pro, plus all the online ones like Ohm Studio, Soundation, etc.

Hey chokenhold, first of all thanks for posting. I agree with you for the reaper but i personally don't like mixbus so much. But i haven't tried it much so my opinion doesn't count.
You are right for the name. I am always confused with these two :S. And i would like to thank you for your correction.
There are many DAWs out there but i don't think that these can compete with those in my image. Podium will be in the next image plus many of the online DAWs. I don't think that Vienna is a 'complete' DAW. I 've never used it though.
Thanks again for posting.

Any chance of a darker colour (or larger graphic) so I can join in?

the way DP8 has a built-in VU meter is pretty smart. I wish Reaper and Live had such simple yet so useful feature.

My first look said Reason looked the best, but to be fair to Live, that's an empty clip view strip. You would have to post a sideways channel strip for session view.

Thanks for that. tbh the graphic is just too small to see any detail on individual strips.gamecat666 wrote:1 cubase 7thecontrolcentre wrote:I can't read the peach colored text on the graphic ...
