Obscure Waves: my new podcast

I'm happy to present Obscure Waves, my new podcast and DJ mix show featuring underground electronic music!

I've been working on this project for a while now. For the moment, I have uploaded 4 DJ mix and the first hosted show should be out in a week or two. Obscure Waves is also on Facebook:

All the shows/mixes can be downloaded legally.

Let me know what you think about it, the layout of the site, if it works well on your portable device, etc. I'd really like it to be a place where underground artists can gather to hear new electronic music!!

I have thought about doing something similar with ambient music. I am curious about how you license the music you use to make up your podcasts. Since you allow downloads, do you pay mechanical royalties?

Most of the music on the podcast has been sent by the labels and artists themselves!

Of course, if I get a justified complaint, I'll remove the tracks that are problematic. It's not like I'm selling advertisement and make money out of it!

He has an interesting point of view regarding the music industry and how people consume music. I've made a small 40min mix to listen to while reading the interview, it's all done with love!
