Zippernoise is next.TheoM wrote:Right, i can confirm that the AU is finally working flawlessly besides slider zipper noise, which the vst doesn't have.
Other news: Andre Zoer is now helping with several tasks, like the update of the installers for Mac and Windows 8. He is also working on the update of the manuals. He is one of the technicians who was in the A/B listening team.
Next week I will upload the new demo versions on the website.

Thank you for the report. I am waiting for a few other people testing it and them will place this version for release. There will be a version for 10.6 and a version for 10.7 and 10.8.

Can you please tell me more about the difference between the "vintage" and "modern" versions ?
I know what it says in the manual about the difference.
Just hoping you could provide a little more detail on how the difference is achieved.
Thanks
Murray

The biggest difference is the amount/speed of modulation. The vintage modulation speed is much higher, giving artifacts on material that have note information. It is a kind of chorus that can be amazing, but also can be not desired. The modern algo has a lot slower modulation, so these artifacts are a lot smaller, but on the downside you can hear the different delays much more clearly. The original EMT250 does not have this algo.Beatworld wrote: Can you please tell me more about the difference between the "vintage" and "modern" versions ?
