I am finishing up the Bb Soprano Clarinet and here is an isolated demo of the Weber Clarinet Concerto. Note the use of legato programmed into the instrument via the mod wheel.

Well...sounds smooth and sweet,

if i understand exactly it is a VSTi emulation...

of what kind, ...Rom-player ?(i guess !)...,or physical model ?

The kind of "medium room" of the demo is apart from it or included ?

No vibrato / tremolo modulation, or it is just the choosen the demo ?

It sounds sample based but the lower tones appear more accurate to me than the higher ones. But I like the overall playability this tune seems to demonstrate.

Tell more.

Best regards,

This sounds great... :D
Fast notes and legato sounds very very good...

What about long notes, in the high tones and pianissimo...
This is where i love the clarinet.

You cut your prices ?
used to be 149$ and now 99$... Good idea...

Still a little too expensive though...

Thanks for the comments guys!

The reverb is from Altiverb. It's the new Sydney Opera house (6') impulse.

The programing is just done via the EXS instrument editor. I have some tricky sample start time switching's going on via the mod wheel but that's really it.

The demo you hear here is only with the portato (1.5 sec.) samples. I sampled a ton of other articulations including trills, long sustains, expressivo, glissandi, grace notes up and down, staccato, and more....

Thanks again!

Donnie

Hey... cool! I've played this piece. The clarinet sounds amazing, although some of the articulation seems to be underaccentuated. Really, the sound is fantastic though =)
