Ohm Force, Uhbik, Soundtoys, D16...

If you take academic pricing into account, these four bundles are very close price-wise. I could never get Soundtoys to work properly with jbridge (well, stable enough) and I have D16, but it's far from a complete bundle.
I wonder if anyone has found alternative to these popular bundles. Ohm stuff doesn't seem to have been updated in a while, and Soundtoys... well, no 64 bit which is not just whining, but is actually causing me trouble, and we have Uhbik.
D16 is nice here and there for "light" electronic production... Ohmicide is one of the best, but we have Maul and Trash 2 now.
I lack a proper delay, and I've never come across something as nice as Echoboy... shame that it doesn't work too well here. D16 stuff is hit and miss. I tried hard to demo Uhbik well but I can never get along with demo that cuts audio off once in a while, and I don't know if it can do really out-there stuff like Ohm stuff.
Why am I writing this? Oh yes, does anyone have a nice alternative for Ohmicide/QFrohmage/Ohmboyz? I just wonder, with us living in the space age 2013 and all, maybe there are better things that have popped up that slipped past my radar.

EDIT: eLicenser? Now that I have returned to iLok and made point of getting rid of eLicenser... It figures...

Question is why would anyone want an Fx bundle ?
Except from an economical POV, a bundle has often weak points. The only bundle I got were Sonalksis ones, because ... of the price, and of the good average " hi quality " suite I was after, with a global neutral/non coloring option. There were a few other candidates, but not so much, and I'm very satisfied of my choice anyway, so not a single regret here.
Then for most units, I only purchase in each brand what suits me, my work needs, or more simply, my desires.
And to OP, as for the Delay, you could try Le Masque Delay. Zero compromise sound quality, tons of features, as well as unique features. A must for all delay addicts, like myself, and also capable or beeing your goto delay. And the best : Not yet in any bundle

The short answer is no. Ohmboyz is pretty unique and stands on its own. Ohmboyz, Echoboy, Waves SuperTap and Uhbik Delay are all pretty different animals.schnapsglas wrote:

And did I already mention, I have a Waves SuperTap to sell for a very good price?

Could be an aesthetic reward for having similar ui. Not sure i think so, but maybe someone with ocd of some sort would ...

Well, I think OhmForce suite of plugins is still worth every penny.
And Ohmboyz is a really incredible delay. Somewhat hard to set up at first, but when you make a few of your own presets it is incredible. All of their other FX are great sounding, too. I'm also a fan of D16 plugins, but I have to agree that they're kind of hit and miss, and I hate the 3D perspective GUIs... just suck, but the sound is great most of the time. They don't cheat with hardware lookalike GUIs and subpar sound like some more well known companies... well, a lot of other well known companies, actually.
Any company that uses dongles is a no go for me. So Soundtoys might be nicely sounding but I don't think it's worth the hassle with dongles. Terrible. Yuck. It's just like a bundle of a few plugins and you have to carry the dongle for them with you all the time. I use a lot of plugins, and to have to carry the dongle just for these feels very awkward. They're just not *so* special. No bundle of plugins is, really. Especially 10 years from now.
