About the time they release komplete 9 I suspect - April or thereabouts
I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

Question to all: do you guys like the sounds heard in the video & audio clips?

Would they overlap that much? Massive was designed to have a lot of analog character, especially in the filters, overdrive and a few of the wavetables, but also be capable of digital wavetable sounds. I feel like what you mentioned would be a lot of overlap.

No ... sounds very 2013 with its silly amount of bass and LOUD LOUD LOUD. Im sure there's a lot of people who like it though.

In order of how much I wish it to be the case;;

1] A new synth for Reaktor....6

2] a modular synth that uses the boxes & wires paradigm in the background, but lets you turn that into a nice gui for the foreground

3] A new synth for Reaktor

Post

I'm sure it's something to do with Reaktor.

Maybe a reaktor instrument, but I'm hoping for something more exciting.

gah - now i'm going to be disappointed that the final name wont be as cool as this.

Could be Kore 3 :?:

Well, they have to release something as an update or they have nothing for the Komplete 9 cycle .. so something is getting a version bump. You know, some new graphics/colors for the GUI plus move some knobs around...

yikes my cynicism is running rampid today.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

I almost believe the guy, but his tongue is firmly in his cheek right?

You think Bitwig will be released with K9, don't you?

That should give those Ableton users with puny Ableton Push some food for thought.
It's all about the wavelets. I dream of the perfect additive synthesis.
