I'm sorry everyone...
It is just that this post-NAMM random product announcement culture is starting to get to me. I can't budget for things that I know are coming but have not been announced, I can't buy things I haven't budgeted for that are going to get released all of a sudden. Bitwig, RMX2, Live9, Reaktor 6, Monarch, I just don't know who I am anymore

And don't worry, close to half of them won't come out anyway.

Just imagine if Rudess gave have of the jobs endorsing products to his goatee. He could do twice as many.

I'm not that impressed by him. I'm not saying he doesn't know what he's doing, but all he does is noodle around and doesn't really "play" anything.

He does 99% of the time, but I really see something special 1% of the time. That 99% of the time, trying a new piece of gear, usually.djanthonyw wrote:I'm not that impressed by him. I'm not saying he doesn't know what he's doing, but all he does is noodle around and doesn't really "play" anything.
Also, Rudess has to be thanked for bringing so many metal and prog fans to synthesis and electronic music in general.

Judging from the Soundcloud demos is definitely a VA synth. Considering the only thing lacking in NI catalog is a proper VA synth makes a lot of sense. However, I have to say that Monarch is a very lame name.
Whatever it is, I just hope it looks as good as the graphics in the video and has better filters than the ones in the current NI line-up.
