Hmm, it seems pretty interesting so far. Listening to the demos, there were a couple sounds that left me cold, but most others I liked quite a bit. Can't wait to learn a bit more about it.

That said, I'm not really in the market for another soft synth, so it definitely needs to have something special about it for me to consider picking it up (and as for buying NI products, I'm never quite sure how to approach them--standalone seems wasteful regarding money, but buying Komplete seems like a bunch of bloat).

I feel the same way.

I just bought Komplete 8 last year and I don't plan on upgrading to version 9 when it launches....as I have not yet exhausted version 8. If this synth is all that it's being hyped up to be....I'll grab it as a stand alone....providing- a good portion of it is modular and it's priced right.

Demos sound good. Definitely my cup of tea.

Cool demo. Not a "must have" for my style given I own massive and reaktor, but would be a nice addition if included in K9.

I kind of like this marketing the new gear pieces prior to the Komplete collection release. It will be interesting to see pricing for this synth, as well as K9 versions and pricing.

I am hoping it is Reaktor 6...

It sounds crunchy and I am not sure if I like it... but it's interesting and fresh. :)

I get the impression that it's something "new"... as in, not a new version of an old product... so not Massive 2 or Reaktor 6... that's how I'm seeing it anyway

It's a "moog modular" .. a marriage between reaktor and minimoog so to speak. Interchangeable modules etc. The moog modular has always been considered the king of analog, hasn't it?

Im willing to bet this post on it!

I called it first on page 3, if this were a competition crackbaby would be winning the discount on a soundbank ;)

"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

The second entrant into a class of two?

Monarch makes sense with the strange little tag line: One synth to rule them all.
I have a suspicion that Driver is a cut down proto of the new filter.
