Instead such analog type synth, Massive 2 would be more welcome i guess. The analog-like area is pretty filled with great stuff, like Diva, LuSh & Saurus.

True, however, I think Massive proves to be still very popular and an analog type synth would fill a void in the Komplete package. From NI's perspective, it would make sense.

Yeah, and also if they've really been working on it for years as claimed, then many of these fancy new analogs wouldn't have been around when they were well into designing this new one. And besides, there's lots of reverb out there and look what they just released - classic reverb emulations.

I'm swayed in favour of it being a cpu hog analog emulation, even though I found the original examples to be fairly harsh digital sounding.

Truth to be told, I didn't even listen to the audio examples yet, I was just going by the speculation that it's likely to be a analog type synth.

Correct me if I'm wrong - but I can name couple of vsts that are able to sound this way.

Also why all demos are overdriven as hell?

To sound louder and fool everyone's ears I'd say. To lots of ears, the louder = the better...

And if that's the case, honestly, from the examples it doesn't even come close IMHO.

I'm an NI fan and own Komplete 8. The demos don't sound evolutionary to me, much less revolutionary. But let's face it, it's a Teaser and until we get a better glimpse, it's really not fair to judge it.

I hope it is revolutionary. Proof will be in the putting.
