The mini is a great classic no doubt but hardly 'a synth that rules them all'.
So there has to be more.

This, and Live9 with M4L, and I will simply stock up on Rahmen noodles from Cotsco, quit my job, sell my children to science, and create the most awesome sound textures of weirdness no one will ever listen too except other people on soundcloud who want my commentsV0RT3X wrote:Its a new instrument inside Reaktor 6, using new DSP tech.
Im willing to bet money on this..

If they are going full out on analog modeling technology then it is certainly not a Reaktor synth. It's too cpu heavy to build stuff in reaktor compared to low level code.

Well with all the processing power happening, I can't see why not? Besides when Reaktor first came out it was quite a CPU hog, so they are making it future proof by adding in intensive analog modelling.

I can't wait for all the laptop users to scream about 89% utilization for 1 note polyphony.
Followed by NI telling them "there is a sounds like ass setting that will allow you to play up to 3 notes"

I wonder if that's the case with Core, however. I thought those modules allowed for heavily optimized code that ran close to Native. Razor was no slouch in the computation department. Plus, it's possible Reaktor 6 takes that even further and allows for fully native DSP code?Echoes in the Attic wrote:If they are going full out on analog modeling technology then it is certainly not a Reaktor synth. How many threads do you need to shout about Reaktor 6?V0RT3X wrote:Well with all the processing power happening, I can't see why not? Besides when Reaktor first came out it was quite a CPU hog, so they are making it future proof by adding in intensive analog modelling.

Well if we don't have one we could always build one...Numanoid wrote:How many threads do you need to shout about Reaktor 6?V0RT3X wrote:Well with all the processing power happening, I can't see why not? I very much doubt this is Reaktor 6. Looks like a new ensemble based on the Minimoog and built using core technology (maybe even built or influenced by Vadim Zavalishin's work) so probably with some extensible and modular features that take it way beyond the original.

Is that revolutionary by NIs standards though? Will wait and see anyway, someone in this thread has probably called it, my moneys' on Vort3x.aMUSEd wrote:I very much doubt this is Reaktor 6.
