Alien Vanguard HGF Sound/Waveset for Waldorf Blofeld

The Waldorf Blofeld is versatile little monster and a highly suitable candidate to profit from some very special HGF waves in order to push it deeper into outer space with soundscapes and athmospheres. In some way you have a HGFortune hardware synth then, or, to put it precisely a hardware synth with the special HGFortune sound. Accordingly the soundset features mostly patches for ambient, soundscapes, textures and athmospherics, but also some other goodies like classic synthstuff e.g. for typical sequencer sounds. Thus the soundset makes it easy to do some e.g. classic TD style and related music.
The soundset comes with 256 patches and 86 carefully selected and optimized waveprograms and is available in the Waldorf shop only - introductionary sale for a limited time. Available from Feb., 24th

I'm glad you posted here about this new bank... especially the demos! The mp3 links at the Waldorf site were broken when I checked them last.
I was really excited when I saw this mentioned at the Waldorf site. This is just the kind of soundset that the Blofeld was desperately crying out for!

Having listened to the demo tracks now... these sounds are really wonderful to hear coming from the Blofeld. Absolutely gorgeous! As you said... it's like having a hardware HGFortune synth. Well done, sir!

That's a nice surprise, tucked away over in the hardware section!
Very lovely and intriguing sounds. With the recent sales on mAudio Venom,
that might be another popular hardware soundbank target.

Soon there will be another patchset by a 3rd party patch designer using the Alien Vanguard waveset.

I voted for more waves and more patches. However, keeping in mind that the wave memory IS limited. So certainly, it would be great to have more source material to work with. But at the moment I am still not done exploring what's already been provided in the wave material that was provided as part of the SL package!
