Hi, I read previous threads regarding this issue, nothing works for me. I have ample RAM and CPU power, I have disabled WiFi, anti-virus and tweaked my PC to support DAW. Still pops. And starting to drive me nuts. Please any support you can offer will be very much appreciated... Thanks. BTW: I use NI kit and Traktor under serious loads, no problem, not an audio interface issue.. Not EQ either, all green on all samples/master..

What system are you on? Does this popping also accurs when playing one of the demo sessions? (Session menu -> Open Demo)

Post

Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. Yes, the popping occurs with the demo packs too.

Post

Intel Core i5-2450 CPU @2.50GHz, 4.00GB RAM, 64 bit OS. CPU runs at 12% and RAM 40% utilization during playback.

Post

Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 interface / ASIO driver. All drivers are up-to-date and I don't experience any problems with Maschine or Traktor.

Post

Latency on the Audio 6 interface diagnostics is super-low. I'm also interfacing / using a Roland SH-01 synthesizer.

And the pops/clicks are also there when you do mixdown? If yes please make a mixdown of one of the demo sessions, mp3 it and email it to me.

Post

have you checked to make sure there are no sample rate issues?

Post

Just emailed that to infodesk@mutools.com

Thanks! But i don't hear clicks/pops in that mixdown. Do you? If yes at what time in that mixdown?

Post

Strange indeed. I mixed down my composition in 32 bit, heard the pops on playback in Winamp with the WAV, loaded into Audacity converted to MP3, still heard pops, downloaded to iPod, no pops. I can play back anything else, including other compositions from Maschine, no problem. Whatever I am mixing down or playing back in MU.LAB has pops. Are there some obscure settings somewhere? Something I've missed...?

Post

The mixdown does not have clicks/pops. I don't hear them and you don't hear them if playing it on another device eg your ipod. So if there are clicks/pops when playing that wav file in winamp or audicity then i assume also playing other waves should have click/pops when played back on that system via winamp or audacity and so it sounds like there's something wrong on that system. Right?

I've had this happen to me when system samplerate was set to something else than the audiofile i played. What samplerate is the mixdown at? 48kHz?

You mean MuLab specifically or your system generally?

Post

System generally! Not mulab
