i get what you are saying, but i would love the chance to test out whether they WOULD actually get up after me knocking them down

Nickleback does suck. However, they suck because their goal is to make bland and forgettable songs, and they pretty much hit the mark.

To truly make the worst song ever, you have to take some risks. Chad Kroeger and company don't have the balls to step out of their comfort zone of sub-mediocrity, and so are unlikely to ever make the list.
