My upgrade price from Live 8 Suite with M4L to Suite 9 is $199. I was told there would be an extra discount for M4L owners. Could someone without M4L share their upgrade price from Suite 8 to Suite 9?

That is the "discount". It was $234 before.

For those who doesn't like the new skin, Live 8 skins are compatible, just put them in Ableton 9/rsources/skins. I share this one I made which is easy in the eyes and has a little more contrast than the default on

no option for just ableton and max, sans suite...not in the market for this, but if i was then that would be what i was after

Problem is other DAWs actually DID. Logic certain does both drums to midi and pitched audio to midi, just hardly usable. I'm seriously hoping for something that's a lot better built-into rather and skip a plugin.

But I hate that there are no sensitivity sliders, no real control. I feel a lot could be improved if you could tell the app where to look. But that seems to be what Ableton is going for, that whole Apple 'it just works' idea where the UI sort of insulates the user from the application. I also have no other application with so few 'options' to set.
