Hi!

Have you tested to convert KT Drumtrigger with FXpansion Vst2Rtas?
I tried but when I launch KT Drumtrigger in Protools, Protools crasches all the time.

Any ideas?

Not at all no!
If someone is willing to offer me a ProTools system with VST2RTAS installed so I can do some testing/debugging, I'd be glad to do so.

Update: I just heard from Angus that Vst2Rtas doesn't support "sendEventsToHost" (which is a VST API call used for sending MIDI events back to the host program). So, it won't work in ProTools (at least for now).

Hey, Koen, firts of all, congratulations for this great piece of software :) Indeed, I'm trying to implement it in my Protools system with no success yet. In this case, I'm using a G4 with a Panther 10.3.9 system and a Protools 6.9, with VST2RTAS version 1.05.

I've just (very sadly) seen your post! But still I'd like to inquire you if it's not a version matter. I've installed a couple of weeks ago VST2RTAS 2.0 in a G5+PT7 system a it seemed to manage VSTi and MIDI incoming much better. Is it possible that this version supports this API (Sendeventstohost)?

Right now I'm successfully using your trigger in a Cubase+Mbox system wich delivers me an unimaginable amount o latency making it impossible to use, since minimum latency of Mbox in non-PT systems is 512smps. Hope to get int touch with you soon!

AudioPhreak - The RTAS format itself does not support MIDI out from a plugin. Therefore, it is not a case of us updating the adapter or Koen updating his plugin. Only Digidesign can fix this situation, sorry.

Hi there, MM, thanx for the quick reply :) I'm very sorry to hear this! Looks like Cubase will be the best option then... It's a pitty!
