Get your 'puter running
Information highway
Lookin for a new DAW
And plugins by the dozen
Ableton never made it happen
Wipe their code right in their face
Fire all their devs at once
And troll cyberspace
I like the smoke and mirrors
Spouting tricky vapour
Faking market ready
When its barely down on paper
Ableton couldn't make it happen
Sixty four was a waste of space
Steal most of the their devs at once

Like a redheaded stepchild
Bitwig's still ain't out in the wild
Let's just cut that jive

Bitwig I'm-a need you
You're the only DAW I've never tried, but can't live without
Maybe I'm-a fanboy
But I just can't live without
Your black and neon complexion
Giving me an erection
Like a darker Live for tired eyes in the darkest hours
Lately I'm-a guessing
That you'll be in beta-testing, forever
Used to be that Live was great, Bitwig changed my mind
Now I'm posting pics of cats in threads and wondering why

Why are there so many
Songs about Bitwig
And why its much better than Live
Bitwig's in beta
But only a vapor
And the Bitwigs won't let us inside
So we've been told and some think they'll release it
On Mac, on Linux, and the PC
Someday we'll find it
The Bitwig connection
The hobbyists, the semi-pros, and me
Who said that every feature wish
Would be logged and implemented
When wished on KVR
Somebody thought of that
Too late in development
And they haven't responded so far
What's so amazing
That keeps us DAW gazing
When all of us have at least three
Someday we'll find it

Have you been sequencing
With just a few voices
And needed some PDC
Is this the feature
That Ableton's missing
$50 is all its worth to me
I've heard it so many times I abhor it
A table is all it should be
