They call me The Bit Wig
But my name was Ableton Live
Why they call me it I do not know
For my name was Ableton

From the first day I saw her I knew she was the one
As she stared from the screen and smiled
For her clips were the colour of our choices
They grew in the computer, all virtual and wild

When he knocked on my display and entered the screen
My trembling subsided in his sure embrace
He would be my first user, and with a careful hand
He wiped the notes that ran down my tracks

On the second day I brought her a vst
She was more beautiful than any daw I'd seen
I said, 'Do you know where the Bit Wig Beta grows
So sweet and scarlet and secret?'

On the second day he came with a single plug in
Said: 'Will you give me your loss and your sorrow?'
I nodded my icon, as I layed on the browser
He said, 'If I discover the beta will you follow?'

CHORUS

On the third day he took me to the devs
He took away the beta and i cried
And the last thing I heard was a muttered word
As he stood smiling above me with Live 9 on his mac

On the last day I took her where the Bit Wig grow
And she stared at the offfice, the wind light as a thief
As I hacked her goodbye, I said, 'All beta is mine'
And lent down and planted a watch between her calender

They call me The Bit Wig
But my name was Ableton Live
Why they call me it I do not know
For my name was Ableton

Ok, somebody has to do "The Real Slim Shady" with an Ableton slant. :hihi:

Over waiting for Bitwig now haha. They killed themselves taking so long letting Cubase push out a new version, Studio One and hell I dont know how Ableton even managed to do it but they did and I'm sure imageline will manage to release FL 11 too.

I dont see anything different now in Bitwig other then offering a Linux platform which I'll give the kudos for. I guess everyone just got hyped on the bandwagon thinking it would be the next big thing but imo nothing exciting now.

Although I could be wrong right ???

There'll be (Bit)wigs on the green if they don't release soon.

I sometimes run stuff through the anagram server to see what pops up. BitWig Studio returned a few funny results. Do not extract any ulterior motive from this, these were just the only ones that made grammatical sense with slang maybe.

The first one is particularly funny given the anticipation. :)

If you didn't care what happened to Tracktion,
And I didn't care for Live,
We would zig zag our way through KvR and cats
Occasionally glancing up through the net.
Wondering which of the bugs to blame
And watching for Bits of the Wig.
