A driving rhythm and a wonderfull guitar pattern realy brings me in the mood. 3minutes of joy and good feeling. Thanx for this track!

4 points: Skyzone - Evangelism
If someone tells me that this is a new soundtrack from the big V, I would belive it. You captured the sounddesign, the arrangment and the subtile melodies in a perfect way. Respect!

3 point: Vort3x - Breeze In the Forest
Very unusual here in OSC. More medicine to my soul than music. But great sound design. Showing what else can be done with such a synth beside the usual sounds.

2 points: Dimtsak - Enter through the narrow gate
I am a melody guy. So this was instantly one of my favorites. Not much different sounds, but this reduction did the track well. Like a love theme for a film. Pure emotion!

1 point: Broad Halls of Yeast - Farside
Wonderfull filter work. I love those s/h-filter changes. Very cool groove. Unfortunately the best chord change is at the end. I wish, there was more of that!

I did not compete but after listening to all tracks on my mp3 player I found 5 tracks that I believe stand out from the rest, so they deserve some points from me.

Glossy sounds, great fx and arrangement. My small wish for the track to have some more harmonic variations.

Deep ambient sounds, very good rhythmical part, liked how it evolved.

5 points = Ruedi Rena - Pheax 1.2
This was easily the most audacious piece. When I saw 10 minutes, I thought - you got to be joking. But not only did it take me off to another world, I stayed there for the whole time without my feet touching ground. It carried through without being boring for the whole time. Had all the hallmarks of a new kind of Tangerine Dream or early Klaus Schulz and yet wasn't derivative in any way. When it finished, I felt like I had landed back on Earth after checking out some extravagant M-class planet

I listened to these about 5 times each to ensure my choices felt right, so I really gave this one top marks. I believe the audacity could have been enhanced

at the 3:10 mark by letting the thumpy bass play for a few bars longer as a kind of reprieve. Then at 5:44 you took us into this strange almost non-musical 8-bit-ian world. Crazy daze man. But great fun!! Hold the basslines at 3:10 and 6:51 - by themselves for a few bars longer (would 4 each be too audacious?) - formalising your reprieves - before bringing other sounds in to give us a much-needed rest. do this because you are blowing our minds too much. Great outro. Well bloody done!

4 points = Moldavsky - And then there were none
Loved this not-quite-tuned-in piece. It was wonderful. Had a feeling of lost in a sea of disconnection and white noise (which I guess is what the Earth is - in space I mean - with white noise being the background radiation). Lovely bells poking through before we go into the dramatic bit. I'm not 100% sure that the dramatic bit was fully resolved. I felt it really needed to pump and then wash out (wide pan) back to the bellish lonely loveliness.

3 points = Bumtu - Midnight Dance
Very nice beats and subtle intervweaving of electronic threads. Worked beautifully and showed a real knowledge (or knack) with electronic music. Loved the drifting ending. Wondered whether a very tiny bit less compression would add more subtlety.

2 points = Solidtrax - A Feast of Speed
Love the beginning to this. And the ever-rampening-up (?) of tempo. But it wasn't just a simple runaway train, it had a wonderful lilting quality to it before breaking out into that not-quite-dance piece. My only reservation after playing Matmos' "Supreme Balloon" album about a million times in the last 3 years is that your beginning reminded me of theirs. The train kept me going through this. It was a genuine and wonderful journey piece.

1 point = Ricler - On the Cafe Terrace
This one had a lovely, happy atmosphere and the vageuly Latin beat undertones (and perhaps the happy title) had me thinking of the many days in my 20s where I spent drinking coffee and checking out the chicks. I do believe there was a little repetition in there. Often using a contrasting instrument (e.g. swapping a bass midi file and inserting into a short pad channel (instead of the lead instrument) might lessen the repetition, but I loved the idea of this one.

Honourable mentions:

Unhappy Accident: I really think this is a first draft. It felt very much like a cathartic release. I felt that the screenwriter phrase "Write with the heart, rewrite with the head" held some sway here. The impact was undeniable. Perhaps you could segue into a lilting part - after the accident - in hospital and then a bit about getting back into the hullabaloo of normal life for your third act

That Epic Moment: Loved the basslines and Tron-like sounds used in this. It was extremely epic. While it reminded me of other tunes a bit, it was so skilfully done - remniscent of not only Daft Punk's brilliant Tron, but also capturing some of the magic of Vangelis' lush soundscapades. Great to hear (and see the skill of the sound designer) with this synth.

Catchy piano phrases , perfectly crafted rhythm & synths effects/melodies. Another jewel in Doc Jon's crown.

4 pts Gorgorgathgorgorgor - Descent

Loved it immediately especially the fuzzy bass line .Simple but accurate .

3 pts Farlukar - Emmi

Eerie & gently spooky with obsessive themes repeated on various instruments .Great sounds & atmosphere.

2 pts moldavsky - and then there were none

In spite of the mildly annoying HF & persistent noise ( which actually create some cumbersome attraction) I cannot help but like this composition. Excellent combination of crashing percussions & music box like melodies.

1 pt Dead Eddy - Door

Great mixture of "acoustic" & electronic sounds. Lovely moody piece.

No more points left but many more great comps again, I enjoyed in particular Skyzone's tribute to Vangelis, RuediRena 's epic composition , Nikp2000 's irresistible groove and Ricler's sound design & atmosphere.
