I'm wondering if they tried to extrapolate from both chaos designer and time designer concept applied to tuned percussion or improvised melodic lines in general ?

I mean for instance : based on a single slice of a tuned percussion random pitches bounded to a scale and some more or less predefined rhythmic phrases inside predefined groove and signature

I don't have Omnisphere... I do have Stylus RMX. Collecting dust currently. I guess I should re-load it but I hate to if I'm not going to use it. I keep getting the Giant Rex reload thing from Nine Volt Audio which sounds interesting enough to make me... but it's another $299. To bring the total to 600. Yikes... Then an upgrade from Spectra?

hmm..sounds like a clue

but their material seems to be different from Stylus which is mostly drums.

I know we are all tired of guessing and hoping, but honestly...

this is getting ridiculous.

Has Spectrasonics dropped Stylus RMX?

I mean, is Stylus RMX even Mountain Lion compatible??

The last update was in May 2011

No announcement in any way from Spectrasonics about Stylus RMX, that is just lame and pretty dissapointing!
It has been a great piece of software once to work with, but now it is old and dusty and useless for me.

This is the Spectrasonics MO I'm afraid. Nothing except speculation for years and then suddenly they come out with a teaser of a release a couple of months into the future. I am sure Stylus is neither dropped or forgotten.

Could it be that many of the top VSTi's are not being released because they are trying to implement iPad compatibility and/or sister Apps or controller apps and release them simultaneously?
