The list isnt based on reality.

There is no "best" synth in my world. I mean, take something like Sches' Diversion and Izotope Iris - both absolutely fantastic in their own ways, but hardly comparable. Two different worlds, really.

Post

the best softsynth ??

it's quite obvious

the best synth is one of those on this particular magazine's list that, having been previously nominated, goes on to secure the most votes

hardly worth making a thread about really

wait for the results then buy the winner...simples

Post

is "this plugin" on the list?
:ud:

Actually this kind of contest is silly. I still remember when they have a vote for the best vst guitar amp, kuassa managed to get no 1 due to the social media advertising. Some guy posted about it in Indonesia biggest internet forum (we're talking about a country with more than 200 million population here), and since it's a free for all voting, people with no knowledge of what they're voting can vote for.

There isn't a best synth - thats just stupid!

Synplant can't automate stuff.
Minimonsta - no FM/wavetables.
Z3ta 2 - not best filters,
uno-lx - not many features,

etc.. etc..
Pigments Presets, Omnisphere Expansions, Dune, Serum, and Thorn Sound Packs. Diva, Zebra, TAL, and Repro Sound Banks. Massive discounts - https://NewLoops.com

If only they had this plugin in their list, it would make sense.
But they don't, so I voted Linplug CRX4 which is as good as it is underrated.

Edit: Vurt beat me to it. Good thinking, mate.
