Isn't "neuro" this kind of music where you need psychotropic drugs to make the listening experience bearable?

Lady Gaga is the new Maddona.

I'm sure she would like to think so.

LOL, nice. Well, if I ever "invent" a music genre, I know what it's going to be called now :hihi:

"Neuro" is when you got a big old Levasseur whistle (3.5 Hz @ 120 dB) on-stage and crank it up at the climax of the evening and get all the attendees' internal organs resonating with the whistle.

I think Neuro is probably shorthand for Neuro Step. Was talking to a producer friend recently, apparently it started to take off in Melbourne. Fancy that!

It's characterised by the formant like growl in the bass and lead lines that we know from *Step styles. It's got a lot of glitch in it to. Here's a SoundCloud group ...

Hi. Welcome to the music industry. Here's a couple of our old timers - meet 'punk' and 'rap'. :hihi:

The music industry is more than happy to appropriate older genres as new if it can sell something; and they're also pretty adept at stringing out a genre's lifespan with glittery bling if it sells things.

"Accelerating Dubstep to frequencies which harmonize with the body's natural biorhythm."

Insert joke here.

Seriously, the tunes in that group are tagged w/ all sorts of genres and subgenres, so hard to decipher where one ends and one begins. Or maybe that's the idea.
You need to limit that rez, bro.

think this explains it

though the difference between glitchhop and neurohop is a bit nebulous, to be honest
