to everyone complaining about the teaser hype VS. the actual product -- do you also think that McDonald's employees "love to see you smile" ?

We might though.
"Morally superior" because he is advocating using a crack to 'demo'?

OK, i fold. :hihi:

(Obviously this room-with-patchcords is quite a bit more capable. Still wouldnt sneeze at a 2500 either.)

That would be a revolution. :o

NI usually does deliver something different or unique and a moog mono emu is a bit far removed from what the teaser video suggested IMHO.

Dont forget the ARP 2500

That was a pretty mean bugger too.

now how could i do that? the products not even out, silly!
Exactly - so it kind of makes your earlier rant pretty pointless:
atraf11 wrote:use the shit before talking shit jesus christ
atraf11 wrote:demo = demonstration. there is no connotation of where that demonstration came from. go ahead and get all morally superior on me, youre all still wrong
The connotation is usually that the manufacturer of the software will provide it. Which they haven't yet.

No one's getting morally superior, just pointing out the illogicalities of your anger.
your ability to comprehend is whats f**ked. all points/rants still stand: me telling people to demo and use the shit before making stupid baseless conclusions has nothing to do with whether the software is available yet? when it comes, they can test

usually, agreed. but that doesnt stop one from getting it by non-official means. you all might be against piracy, but i dont see how downloading a "crack" to test with the intent/potential to buy is wrong in anyway

I dunno, but I had breakfast burritos after getting blood drawn (fasting all night) and they were GLORIOUS! Oh, they were really friendly and were very sincere about it. I definitely was smiling :D

Weee. :hihi:

(Still it couldnt be King of Monophonics since it is polyphonic and multitimbral.)

The demos are totally unimpressive. The little I hear of it sounds like any other NI-synth, ie digital and abrasive. The synth is too much hidden in ordinary arrangements and mixes that are supposed to be "hip" and sell, I guess, but - intentionally or not - actually don't show off the capabilities of the synth itself.

Give me a demo of the new NI synth that sounds anything like the demos below, and I'm sold. 8)
