But for sheer sound capability and grandeur (royalty), it is the Moog Modular.
Dont forget the ARP 2500

That was a pretty mean bugger too.
50 years old now, Buchla 100, West Coast synth at its finest:

Aah, now this looks fantastic too.

Design looks slightly reminiscent of the SEMs. I like that.

Also, why does it have to be a Reaktor ensemble.

Ok, if you own Reaktor, it's fine to be able to load it in that one.

But if you don't, why force you to open two programs at the same time - first Reaktor and then the synth itself. That's just like all those Guitar Rig plugins that won't be able to stand alone, Reflektor, etc. Annoying concept.

$149 is certainly tempting for an upgrade. Many thanks to NI for the great price. I just wish I could upgrade through the Service Center as a download. The install wears me out.

now how could i do that? the products not even out, silly!
Exactly - so it kind of makes your earlier rant pretty pointless:

The connotation is usually that the manufacturer of the software will provide it. Which they haven't yet.

No one's getting morally superior, just pointing out the illogicalities of your anger.
your ability to comprehend is whats f**ked. all points/rants still stand: me telling people to demo and use the shit before making stupid baseless conclusions has nothing to do with whether the software is available yet? when it comes, they can test

But if everyone wasn't voicing their baseless opinions, you wouldn't have a reason to rant! YOU NEED US!

Them's fightin' words! :o
Well, sometimes less is more. In this case, omitting common enhancements - polyphonic mode for starters - surely makes it a more accurate model than various other offerings including ours.

Hmmm, I was expecting a Moog Modular. Different filters.

ENV1 wrote:Curious if they got the filter envelope right. The voltage accumulating filter envelope is about as important to the minimoogs character as the filter itself, so if they want to call it an emulation, it better be there...
Monark Manual wrote:The envelopes always continue from their current internal state. So, if you retrigger the envelope during a long release they do not jump to an initial value to start off the attack phase but continue smoothly from the current state. This envelope implementation in MONARK comes with an interesting side effect relevant to playing that somewhat makes up for the lack of responsiveness to velocity sensitivity: With a short attack and long release times MONARK's envelopes will keep building on top of themselves and actually keep rising. So notes played quickly in succession get more and more accentuated. You can either increase the attack or decrease the release time to avoid this behavior.

Answers your question? :)
Brings up a new question: Did they do that with *both* envelopes? Afaiaa it's only the filter envelope that does this.

Post

They don't mention the amp envelope doing the same thing in the manual. So I would presume that it's only the filter envelope.

Yeah, you need to feed them or their posts become meaningless to them and the rest of the world. They can never come up with their own thought provoking contribution to a thread. The need to feel special and important through narcissistic internet ranting and quote mining trumps real life social interaction and experience. Continue on
